What Is Find My Hearing Aids?
Phonak’s “Find My Hearing Aids” is a feature available through the myPhonak app, designed to help you locate your lost hearing aids using Bluetooth data. It shows the last known location where your hearing aids were connected to your smartphone — a helpful starting point if you’re retracing your steps.
How It Works
Download and open the myPhonak App
Available for both iOS and Android, the myPhonak app connects your hearing aids to your phone via Bluetooth.Find Hearing Aid Settings in the app
Within the app, go to My Hearing Aids and select Find My Hearing Aids.View Last Connected Location
The app will display a map showing the most recent place your hearing aids were connected. This gives you a good idea of where to start looking.Signal Strength Proximity Tool
If you’re nearby, the app can also show you how strong the Bluetooth signal is, helping you find the exact spot.
Limitations
Bluetooth Range: The feature works best when you’re within Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters or about 30 feet).
Location History: It won’t track your hearing aids in real time, but it will show the last known location.
Phone Must Have Been Connected: If your phone wasn’t connected to the aids before they were lost, the app won’t be able to help.
