My Daughter is getting married next year and I am embarrassed about my hearing loss. I really want to do something about it.
We recently got a message from a man concerned about his hearing loss. He informed us that his daughter was getting married in 5 months time and that he has really noticed that his hearing has declined. He informed us that he often has to ask someone to repeat what they’ve said and sometimes he does not respond when someone speaks to him.
Due to this, he is staying at home more frequently and is skipping his weekly round of golf with his friends. He is really concerned that he will struggle to communicate with everyone at the wedding, especially as the night goes on and there is music playing. He understands that he needs to consult with an audiologist but is feeling a little lost on how to take the first step.
